Eric Scott Hinske (born August 5, 1977, in Menasha, Wisconsin) is a Major League Baseball player who is currently in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Prior to joining the Rays, Hinske had played his entire major league career with the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Boston Red Sox, playing third base, first base, and right field. He is 6' 2, 235 pounds, and of Norwegian descent.

Hinske is known for his intensity and short temper while playing the game. He was caught several times in television broadcasts cursing during Blue Jays games.
